Superlight, extremely rigid mainframe:, The mainframe is made from glassfiber-reinforced polymer material and manufactured by injection moulding. An advantage of this type of mainframe is that it allows for much greater freedom in designing than is the case with a mainframes which are assembled by screwing flat carbon parts together. Consider the placement of the servos for example. We have integrated the three (standard- or midsize) swashplate servos into the frame by providing slots for each one. In this way the servos are very easy to install and the linkages can be kept short and perfectly aligned.
